Three engineering companies came together as one to make A-one+ the successful integrated highway engineering provider it is today. And it’s the act of coming together as one that best describes our company at every level.

The servicing of Highways England has been at the forefront of our strategy since starting up in 2003, and this will continue to be a long-term focus for A-one+. The company already has a number of major contracts covering large areas of England and will continue to provide motorway maintenance and related services.
A new pillar of our future strategy will be to expand into the local authority sector, with A-one+ eager to secure national contracts. Additionally, the company will also target new highway engineering contracts from international markets, so there are certain to be exciting times ahead for staff.
Integration lies at the heart of our culture, starting with the collaborative mentalities of our parent companies, where knowledge and expertise is seamlessly shared. Beyond that, A-one+ is also committed to fostering a community-driven culture.
Two causes close to our heart are the support we give to Investors in Diversity and National Women in Engineering Day. On a wider basis, we also promote a culture of wellbeing by participating in initiatives like the European Week for Safety and Health at Work.
