A-one+ is pleased to have achieved Bronze Accreditation for Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme (FORS).
This is the first time that we have been audited and accredited for FORS accreditation which is a huge testament to the drive and dedication from our Area 4 team.
The criteria for achieving Bronze is tough and it took a lot of time and effort to make sure that we passed our audit. It is a great achievement to receive this accreditation and we can now aim for silver and gold.
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators which aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.
Becoming a FORS member brings the peace of mind that our organisation is managing its work-related road risk (WRRR) and demonstrating to customers and supply chain our commitment to exceeding the industry standard.
Key benefits of Bronze FORS accreditation for A-one+ include; improved safety record and environmental practices, reduced incidents and seriousness of incidents, reduced fuel consumption and assurance of compliance with legal obligations.
Gavin Crittended, A-one+ Area 4 Transport Manager, said: “This is an important achievement because it demonstrates that all of the new policies, improvements and up to date fleet are having a positive impact.
For Area 4 it shows that we are striving for best practice and continued improvements within our business.
Our bronze certificate will be proudly displayed in our Area 4 depots.
Well done to the team, this is an incredible achievement for Area 4 and the whole of A-one+.
