Constructing Excellence Winners

A-one+ were crowned winners of the Preservation and Rejuvenation category for the M180 Inglis Bridge Removal at the Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber Awards last night: with the judges claiming it was a tough category to judge.

Not only that, we were also recognised as highly commended for the Value category for the A64 Askham Bryan Ultigrip Pavement Solution AND Project of the Year category for the A63 South Cave 6000T Project.

A-one+ were the only representatives flying the flag for highway maintenance for both strategic road network and local authority throughout the awards. And, out of 7 shortlisted entries almost half were placed which is fantastic recognition for A-one+ and our highway industry.

These awards are a celebration of the very best the regional construction industry has to offer and highlights the pioneering individuals, projects and organisations that are truly moving our sector forward.

This win and high commendations across a range of highway maintenance schemes cements highways alongside the wider construction industry and continues a long and enviable record of external recognition for the work we undertake.

Here is Abo Bagshire delighted with the win. Congratulations team!

The winners were announced at an ‘Under the Sea’ themed gala awards presentation on Thursday 12 July at The Queens Ballroom, Queens Hotel, Leeds.
