Integrated highway services provider A-one+ has opened its doors once again, welcoming another three apprentices to new positions at its Yorkshire base in Normanton, boosting the total number of apprentices to seven in the last two years.
The three new apprentices aged between 17 and 19 joined our team during the first week in September after successful application and interview process.
Oliver Rimmington, age 19 is studying commercial and finance, with both Matthew Lill, age 18 and Alison Jones age 17 studying civil engineering. All three attend college one day per week and have settled well into working life.
A-one+ is a three way joint venture partnership between Costain, Colas and CH2M maintaining and improving some of the busiest road networks in the UK on behalf of Highways England. It covers 945
miles of motorways and major trunk roads spanning the country from the North East through Yorkshire, Humberside and Kent and the South East.
