Win for Wellbeing
The winners of the inaugural Construction Investing in Talent Awards have been announced as A-one+ delivers a health hat trick after being selected as winner of the Best Wellbeing Initiative.
The black tie ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in central London brought together almost 400 people from across construction HR, recruitment, talent and L&D to celebrate the best of the best: the companies and people that work so hard to attract and retain the best talent.
This is the first year for the Construction Investing in Talent Awards, launched to recognise the teams behind the eye-catching projects – both on site and in the office – who make them a success. They highlight best practice as well as industry talent initiatives.
The winning firms were selected by a panel of 12 judges, comprising senior figures from clients, public sector bodies, industry organisations and high-profile firms from outside construction.
This is the third health and wellbeing award win in a row for A-one who were most recently recognised at the North East Equality Awards and the Royal Society for Public Health Awards.
Judges commented that the initiative demonstrated a strong and collaborative focus on mental health, including organisations from outside the sector, and showcased a positive workplace environment. In particular, the initiative has the potential to help galvanise the industry to break down barriers around mental health in an operational setting.
This latest win provides compelling evidence of the drive and determination of the team to take care of each other while maintaining the national infrastructure.
