Highways Engineers & Technicians – Darlington, Newcastle & Bristol
A-one’s highways teams working in Darlington, Newcastle and Bristol are expanding. We’re looking for a number of experienced highway engineers and technicians to deliver road improvement and maintenance projects for the Highways Agency on the Area 14 MAC. We’ve recently been awarded a 3 year extension to this project and we are now seeking to build on this success. Our work for the HA involves combining expertise from Halcrow and our partner company Colas, to manage the operation, maintenance and improvement of motorways and trunk roads in the north east of England.
We can offer the following opportunities:
- design of maintenance and improvement schemes
- identification of new schemes
- involvement in the bidding process for new projects
- legislative and regulation compliance
- client liaison to ensure completion of projects to required standards
- integrated working of engineering and construction groups to manage projects through from inception to construction
