We know that our people are our greatest asset. Their knowledge of the network, specialist expertise and 'can-do attitude' are essential for A-one and A-one+ to achieve their goals. We operate a 'Watchman Role' where all staff are empowered and encouraged to identify and action areas for improvement on a daily basis, so that we sustain and improve the value of our asset and we're all treating the Network as our own. Developing a common culture and goals within the organisation is well under way and as part of this we operate a 'no blame culture', which helps us to learn from our experiences and deliver year on year improvement.

We work closely with the Highways Agency and have aligned our strategy to deliver their desired outcome. This means that we are directly contributing to the needs of our customers, whether you are a road user, or are otherwise affected by the activities on the Area 10 or Area 14 Networks.  The work will be delivered in accordance with the Highway's Agency's standards and will provide a high quality service to all customers with the aim, of providing safe roads, reliable journeys and informed travellers.
