Safety is the number one priority for the Costain Group. Costain meets all applicable Government guidelines of regulation and industry codes of practice on the environment and in doing so seek to reduce environmental disturbance in all the Groups activities. Objectives are achieved in two ways. Reinforcing the responsibility and competence of the management chain for all projects and, secondly, to provide advice and support to line managers through regional and site safety advisers and all Costain sub-contractors.

We make every effort to understand the local environment and the needs and concerns of the local community. Then we try to minimise the impact of our operations on the local environment.
